Where to Stay in Naples

I will be in Naples for three nights, arriving by train. I am looking for budget lodging and considering two areas. One is B&B Augusteo located in the centre of the city, only 150 yards from Piazza del Plebiscito. The other is B&B La Bouganville which is located what is known as Via Manzoni that connects two residential districts, Vomero and Posillipo. I am looking for advantages and disadvantages of the areas. My focus will be to check out the major sights in Naples with perhaps a day trip to Pomeii. Thank you!

We enjoyed our stay at Bellini 67 B&B, right near Piazza Bellini and Piazza Dante -- right in the historic center, but quiet. We walked everywhere. We went in the winter time -- a double was 60E/night, including breakfast.

My review is on Tripadvisor:

I loved Naples!

I think Piazza Bellini is a perfect location. We stayed near the Duomo and that was a little off-center, although not too much.

I am about to try Megaron B&B in Piazza Dante - 90 euro for a double.

Thank you!, I will look into Bellini 67 B&B.

NanBug,
When booking your reservation with Bellini 67 B&B did you email the hotel directly?

Yes, I did. The owner, Carmine, is fluent in English and very responsive.
