My family and I stayed in Dolphin House in Pimlico last week in a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment. The apartment was very spacious and the tube station was close as was a few local shops for breakast etc. The price was within your budget. The staff were very helpful and the place seems to run like a hotel.
They also have a pool, tennis court and croquet lawn if you have the time or inclination. Its by the river.

francesw: I'm interested in details of your Dolphin House stay.
I've rented at Dolphin Square ages ago and have often recommend it to others. I really like staying in Pimlico. But I had heard they closed the apartment-hotel portion of DS and were converting it to privately occupied flats like the rest.
I now see the short term flats are called Dolphin House. Could you tell if it is the same prat of the Sq as before? Which wing/side of Dolphin Sq is the apartment hotel?

Mimar: I thought the same - after Francesw's post, I looked it up and played around w/ the site. At first it looked like they were totally booked. But then another screen came up and I re-entered dates/info and lots of availability displayed. Just think it is a function of the site's design . . . .
