where to stay in bruges, family traveling with 2 teenage daughters

Traveling this June to Bruges and Amsterdam - a family with 2 older teenage daughters . Any hotel recommendations? We are willing to spent 200 -250 euros a night. Interested in nice safe hotels, maybe with family suites?

Our family stayed at this B&B in Bruges in a few years ago and we highly recommend it: http://www.b-bverhulst.com/ We had the family loft suite, which gives you two sleeping areas (one in a mezzanine) and a living area. The rate includes a wonderful breakfast. The hosts are so welcoming and helpful. This would be well within your budget-- which helps, as we found eating out in Bruges to be quite expensive!

We've traveled extensively in Europe, and this is one of the best accommodations we've had-- especially at this price.

Our fave in Brugge is the Egmond...with your family I think you would be very happy there..it has it's own gardens next to the Minnewater..and a very nice walk into town. The area around the Beguinage and the Mnneater is quite beautiful, quiet and colorful. It's a pleasure coming back to at night, with the stillness and pleasant surroundings. Several restaurants in the Minnewater area. Idyllic.

We are staying here in May with our young adult son and daughter:

The family room is the one pictured in the scrolling display on the website right after the picture of the front of the hotel. It has a separate alcove for the 2 single beds. We are paying 535 euro for 3 nights.

We stayed at the Hotel Aragon several years ago, and were very pleased.

the location was good, and we were upgraded to a large suite/apartment with kitchen, which would be perfect for a family.

We just returned a few days ago. We had two adults, a 20 year old, a 15 year old and an eight year old. We rented a home for far less than the hotels were charging and of course saved quite a bit on food and drinks. Here is where we stayed and we all absolutely loved it!!

I will hopefully get my review up in the next day or two.

We, too, stayed at the Hotel Aragon and were upgraded to a quiet and comfortable apartmet. Breakfast included in price. Very convenient downtown location.

We stayed at De Drie Koningen a few years ago and loved the place and location. www.dedriekoningen.be
