Where to stay between Zurich and Munich in June
 

Hello,

I'm heading to Europe on 6/14 for a cruise departing from Munich on 6/17. We're flying into Zurich arriving on the 15th. Any suggestions where to stay for two nights in between Zurich and Munich? The World Cup will be going on, so even if I could find a room I probably couldn't afford it! We only need to be at the ship by 7pm, so I'm thinking we could stay outside of Munich and be fine for time on the 17th.

We also will have two nights after the cruise as well so maybe two spots in between?

What about Lake Constance?

It is between Munich and Zurich, you can get there quite easily, you will find a quite nice landscape there and also a lot of possibilities to spend your time.

I agree with hhildebrandt - lake constance or "der Bodensee" is lovely - aim for the gardens at Mainau to find other footiephobes.
