Where to stay around Amalfi Coast

I need your advice on where to stay in Amalfi Coast. We have already booked hotel in Sorrento two nights and Positano for three nights. We want to stay at a quaint town around Amalfi to make a day trip to Ravello before we head back to Rome. I canít decide between Atrani or Concert Dei Marino for example. Is any town less expensive than the other or is it worth spending more in a certain picturesque town? Please advise🙌

I'd choose Atrani, for its ceramics; haven't visited the second place. Others can help with the picturesqueness....you may receive many different suggestions.

You already have Sorrento for practicality and Positano for beauty, so why add a third hotel? Just daytrip to your choice of another town.

I love Atrani, but if you’re goal is to visit Ravello, just stay there. It’s supposed to be beautiful at night, too.

Ceramics? I don’t recall any ceramics places in the tiny square. Maybe a hidden studio, perhaps, but no shops that I can remember. When I do a Google search, I find shops in Ravello and Amalfi, but none in Atrani.

We spent five nights in Atrani end April and I donít remember any ceramics either, actually not many shops except for a couple of small convenience stores and a tabacchi.

That apart Atrani was a peaceful oasis and Iíd go back in a heartbeat. A short walk to Amalfi with shops galore and buses and ferries. We did went to Positano and Ravello for day trips, extremely easy and convenient.

Yes, but most of the churches on the Amalfi Coast have ceramic domes, not just Atrani.

Ravello!

We stay at a b&b, La Casa de Vania, but some lovely hotels there too.

There's a Music Festival several months of the year; in September or so it downsizes from Villa Rufolo gardens to a 16th century church for chamber music. A delightful evening event after the garden tours and views.
