Where to stay

Okay, I know that people have recommended venere.com for hotel rooms, but do people have specific recommendations for Rome, Florence, and Venice? I'm looking to spend about 100-150 a night.

Thanks,

Rishi
If you type in the city name on this web site, you'll find lots of suggestions. Also try www.itwg.com and type in the city where you are asked.

For Rome you may want to try any of the following:

Casa Howard
Hotel Parlamento
Hotel San Gregoriana

In Florence, I always recommend an old family favorite, the Hotel Pitti Palace.

Buon Viaggio,
BC

In these three cities, your price will inevitably mean you have to give up something: the best location(s), upscale comfort features, elevator, air conditioner or something.

Do you mean 100-150 EUR? or USD? for a single, or for a double? what month? how many nights? (probably only important if your trip is very soon)

I might be willing to help you sort through some choices; in general the places I know are slightly crummy, or slightly (to a lot) more expensive than what you want.

But I'll see what I can find, given answers to these questions.

Best wishes,

Rex
