Where to mail order French gourmet products?

I'm visiting London actually and would like to order gourmet products from France for my grandparents and my nephew who live in Birmingham. Anyone have recommendations for excellent gourmet items?

In London simply hop into Harrods for such gourmet French stuff.

You don't even know what they like? Why are you buying them gourmet French products if they don't have any special interest in them. I get a catalog for some in the US but they are many times more expensive than buying them in Paris and nothing is usually that great that it's worth it. The best products are fresh, not something you get by mail. I can't even imagine what that would be, the only special things I like in France are baked goods that go stale quickly, and some chocolate which you can probably buy anywhere (although I like Swiss better), and cheeses. But given London is closer, I'm sure there is more available in specialty shops rather than mail order.

Here's a place in London

they do mail order

I used to order lots of goodies from Léon Fargues.

Well, I don't know if that will help someone who wants to order products for Birmingham, England. ;-)

I hold an annual wine and cheese party. The star of the show is always my order from...

And I even live in a city where I can get good cheeses. I do buy great local cheeses, but as far as imports, these are much fresher.

The order comes swiftly and is well packaged. As I re-wrap the cheeses (as fromages recommends), I get to smell France.

Living in London, the companies I've been to with excellent gourmet products are varlhona and Delices & Gourmandises. Varlhona's chocolates are perfect as welll as Delices & Gourmandises Duck terrine with onion confit.

Our publix has French butter now. I use to be able to get it in Key West but this is in a dome shape with sea salt. It is so good. They sell many President items now. Vogue magazine has an article on French butter this month.

Thanks for recommendations , I'll try with the one Christina recommended, I think it will lessen my task.My grandparents enjoy French food as well as my little nephew does. Don't worry, I'll try to order pastries at Delices & Gourmandises too and will be seeing the other companies ,anyway I'd be pleased if you can tell me more about the companies' services, products quality (French bubbles,Delices & Gourmandises..) do French bubbles do mail order?

Not only are the products offered by Delices & Gourmandises delicious but the company services is also perfect. The items were delivered just in 2 days and each year they give prizes too.

You won't find that blog translated into English, if it were, it would be on its own website.
