Where to go in October?
 
My boyfriend and I are looking for a much needed break in October (poss early Nov) that will be hot and not expensive. Any ideas or recommendations greatly welcomed. Thnx.

You have to give us something to go on. Where have you been before? How many days? What's your budget? What type of vacation are you looking for (ie: laying on abeach somewhere) etc...

I've heard there's a Pencil exhibition in Springfield Kansas that shouldn’t be missed.
Guest speakers will be covering the fundamentals of sharpening, followed by a riveting group discussion on how best to preserve your eraser.

Yes, you'll need to be looking at southern Europe if you want heat at that time of year, and even then it won't be that warm. The earlier you can go would be best as it can get rainy late October onwards.

Maybe consider the southernmost Greek islands - Crete? Sicily as already mentioned or the Costa del Sol on the Spanish coast. Or Cyprus could be what you are looking for.
