Where to go in Europe in Winter

I have an American Airlines ticket that will expire shortly so I have to use it as an exchange. Can only book 332 days out, so will be booking within the next day or so, for a trip in Januar 2003. I've been to London and Paris. Any suggestions as to where to go in January? (Cold weather ok but not alot of snow! And must be a destination American Airlines flies to. Thanks.

Rome? I think the weather should be fairly decent that time of year.

Barcelona or Sevilla? Although I heard that it snowed in Barcelona in December. Or Granada with it's snow-capped peaks, bright blue skies, and cool air and hot sun. Kind of like Santa Fe.

AA flies into Barcelona or Madrid. You could pop down to Marrakech but it's also quite chilly there in January, too.

One more: Brazil? Hmmm.
Vienna! You'll have cold weather but not much snow, unless an unusually cold front blows in. Vienna is a great city to visit and it looks very special in the winter.

Thanks for your suggestions, but after thinking about it, I think I'd rather go to the Caribbean for a week!

Yikes, I love Europe, but if I had a free ticket to use for January, I'd choose Brazil too! The weather is wonderful that time of year.
