Where to go and how to get there in Iceland

Jump to last reply

I am doing the 7 day stop over in Reykjavik (really only 6 once you get down to it) and I'm trying to figure out where to go from the city. I'm solo backpacking and I don't drive manual transmission cars (eeek I know it's bad!) so car rental really is out. Through my research I've only really found tour companies that can get you to the natural beauties of the country. So 2 things:

1-What are the not to miss spots of natural beauty from Reykjavik
2-How do I get there?
