Where to go after Paris?
After spending a week in PAris I would like to go to a differnet city for another week. I was thinking of southern france or normandy. I will be there end of december.

Didn't someone else ask this same question a couple of days ago?

I know we're all here to help each other, but when the person asking the question has already answered his/her question, then why ask us? Are you looking for reassurance? Of course, southern France and Normandy are both nice places and not far from Paris so go to whichever interests you or go to both.

I don't think end of December is a great time to be any where in Europe, but I would definitely pick southern France over Normandy. Haven't been there at that time, but I've read Normandy is cold and very wet in winter.

p.s. since this was first posted - - Ryanair now will be ofering service from Paris (BVA) to Milan (Bergamo) early next year.
The French Riviera is great fun in the summer but it is a long way from Paris so it really depends on what you are looking for. The weather anywhere in France during late December is not going to be brilliant so I would not let the weather be a critical factor.Normandy has some fabulous scenery and beatiful towns such as Honfleur and Deauville and they are much nearer to Paris.Hope this is a little more help than some of the previous comments.
