Where to Go?

Trying to plan for a 1-week trip to Europe sometime in either August, September, or October. Can anyone recommend a nice, affordable, and fun place to go for a group of people in their late 20s?? We have been to the popular European destinations (London, Paris, Rome, Prague, Milan, etc.). We enjoy sightseeing, visiting museums, shopping, and eating.

What do you mean by affordable? Do you hava a budget in mind, per day or for the whole trip for both of you?

If you enjoy museums and food, Florence and Vienna are two stars to consider. Florence also allows for side trips into Tuscany.

Affordable meaning that we won't spend more than $150 a day...

Been to Florence and Vienna...

How about Denmark? Sweden? Is it pretty cold during Aug-Oct?

Hi,
Copenhagen would be nice in August-mid Sept.

Also Amsterdam and Venice.

Lisbon in Oct.

It seems you like big cities. If so I would recommend: 1) Berlin - very cosmopolitan, upbeat, vibrant, with lots to see and do and with excellent museums. 2)St. Petersburg - an absolutely beautiful city and very different from your previous trips. 3) Munich. 4)Amsterdam. 5)Copenhagen. In any event - enjoy!
