Where to get vintage/antique UK maps in London?

On our international travels, my husband and I like to pick up antique/vintage maps suitable for framing upon return as a souvenir of our trip. Something featuring the entire UK would be ideal. Where in London might there be a good book/map shop selling such an item? (I'm not talking cheapie maps printed by the thousands...) Thanks!

On Beauchamp Place near Harrods is a shop called the Map House. They have what you are interested in plus hundreds of vintage prints and paintings. It is a wonderful shop! Enjoy.

Museum Street, opposite the main entrance to the British Museum, has a number of used book stores which carry prints, books, maps, etc. Certainly, worth a try. We've bought a few prints there. Congratulations on a wonderful hobby.

I remember seeing some in Covent Garden - not the main market area, but a nook close to the transport museum. I bought a 100 year old map of Palestine for 5 pounds!

Cleo, The one on Beauchamp Scarlett Mentioned place near Harrods has old maps and copies. I love this shop and found it by chance 9years ago. If you somethng specific ask them to help as mostitems are stored in pull out files. I found some lovely old prints of Irish Maps in Irish.

CleoB.. another place to browse is in the shops on Cecil Court ( off Charing Cross Road). You will find antique prints/maps shops along with specialty book stores there.

My husband and I share the same hobby. In London, we have found some antique maps at Avril Noble (sorry, can't find address, but it's near Covent Garden) and Grosvenor Prints, 28 Shelton St. Covent Garden.

Go to Sloane Square and walk about 20 mins. down King's Road and you will find an antique map shop. It is on the left hand side of the road. It seems to be well-stocked.

Can't recall the name of it, but it's across the street from the Savoy. With the Savoy to your back, cross the Strand, and go left. First street turn right, heading towards Covent Garden. It's on the edge of Covent Garden, so it might have been noted already by someone else.
