Where to get A/C in Paris ?
 

Other than BHV, does anyone know where I can buy an inexpensive portable a/c unit (one that tolls on wheels, not a window one) for a small apt in Paris, for this summer. Afterwards I can list it on Craigs list for give it away.

The ones I saw at BHV were quite expensive, 400-500 Euros the least expensive. Here ibn the US, they start at $100+

PS- If anyone is going to post, why I dont get an apartment with A/C, I already have the apt, but it started to get VERY warm this May.

I have no idea where you can get an a/c unit in the States for $100. There is a long thread going in the Lounge right now about portable units, and they are much more expensive than that.

have you tried looking on-line?

I've never been to a Darty store, but is that a possibility?

yes - I know -- but since the OP mentioned that they only cost about $100+ in the States, I assumed intex is hoping to find something that cheap in Paris. Don't think it exists.

PS- Home Depot had one for $109 last week. Nothing I need, but prices here are very cheap.
