Where to eat in Paros and Antiparos?
We have been to Paros often and had many good meals, but would be really interested in what other travelers recommend! Thanks so much!

Weadles, I don't know Paros restaurants at all, but Antiparos has so many good ones it's hard to choose. My all time favourite is Yorgis Taverna, which sits half way up the pedestrian-only main street, with tables on both sides of the street.

A little way off the main street is Pavlos Place, which is also an excellent choice. It's part of Hotel Galini, and you can find it by turning off the main street at the pharmacy. One of the favourites among locals is Kyklades Taverna, further up the side street from Pavlos Place. Also just off the main street, but closer to the harbour, is Klimitaria, which I'm told is one of Tom Hanks' favourites, and I like it too. At the top of the main street is Vicky's Ice Cream, which has the best gelato I have ever tasted:

Scattered around town are several others, including Lollo's, run by Italians, located at the harbour. Walk all the way through town past the kastro and you will find a taverna at Sunset Beach where you can watch the sun dip into the sea.

If you drive down to the southern end of the island be sure to try Captain Pipinos in Agios Georgios. There are several others, including Anargyros, Avra, Argo, Pantelis, which are all good. A few others are shown on this website:

We dined at Egomio on the Parikian waterfront. I had baked swordfish which I thoroughly enjoyed. I think their slogan got me in - "no stress, be happy". You could apply it to all the Greek islands!

I'm sure the swordfish was wonderful; be aware that all large-ish fish in Greece are frozen ... the fresh fish in the Med/Aegean are mainly things like Bream and Red Mullet -- delicioso! but very pricey. And bit less, porgy. Sold by the kilo (2.2 lbs) of Whole weight ... half a kilo, after trimming into filets, is enough for 2 - so if you see something for €40 per kilo, decide whether you want a €20 fish serving... and sometimes you do... grilled w olive oil - Yummm.

Fortunately smaller nonfrozen varieties are much cheaper, lipsmacking good! and probably much fresher than in your US market (you can see the boats coming in at the harbor) - such as mackerel, sardine and my fave, tiny finger-long Marides (smelts). These are mostly grilled or breaded & fried.

One of my favorite recommends on Matt Barrett's Greek site (which in other categories gets promotional) is his NONcommercial category - -- over 50 sections, most of them not pushing a brand or a restaurant, and scores of color photographs. A terrific prep for enjoying meals in Greece!

Thank you very much, worldinabag and travelerjan. We've had some incredible meals on Paros, particularly at a taverna on the beach at Parosporos, where the baked feta drizzled with honey and walnuts was so good I wanted to cry!

Will look now at Matt Barrett's Greek site. Great suggestion!
