Where to eat in Cinque Terre
 

Hi My girlfriend and I are going to stay in Manarola in Cinque Terre next week. Does anyone have good tips for restaurants?

Preferences: Simple Italian food. Not posh in any way. Place where locals eat are often best, to my knowledge. Ironically (when traveling to Cinque Terre) no sea food.

We are going to hike all of Cinque Terre so it can be in any of the towns.

If you guys have any other advice for things to see or do, or places to hike, we would also appreciate a hint for that.

I'd do a search (here, on Trip Advisor, and on Chowhound--I know I've seen restaurant reports on all three) to promptly get some results for your list.
How many days are you there? Have you checked out the trail descriptions? Go as high as possible to avoid crowds.

They just had a ton of rain in the area, and land slides are a risk here -- if a trail is closed, do not go on it.

We are staying for a week.
I did a little searching on this site, but didn't find any valid info about dining. I'l try again.

With a week, it could be easy to just chill and hike every day, but if you are looking to branch out a bit, Lucca is an easy day trip. The other places I know that are close are all also about hiking and leisure, but if you want a change of scenery, Lerici is pleasant. People love Portovenere. To the north, Portofin--Camogli-Santa Margarita Ligure is nice. You could do a marble tour at Carrara if that floats your boat.If you get rain, I'd head to Genoa.

Those food reports may have been on the other sites I mentioned. Trattoria dal Billy is one place that gets mentioned a lot, so putting that in your search might help you find something.

The Cinque Terre is known for pesto so look for dishes using it.
We stayed in Monterosso and recommend the dining room at Hotel Porto Roca.

Our visit to CT was 5 years ago, so not sure how things may have changed but:

We had a really great lunch at La Torre in Vernazza. Not sure about non seafood dishes though- we both had seafood!

In Monterosso we had lunch at Ristorante Ciak- they don’t have the beautiful view that La Torre has but it was a lively patio with good people watching opps and good service. We had a delicious caprese salad and the trofie al pesto, which is a classic a local dish. I seem to recall there were many non seafood choices.
