where to eat & visit in Sorrento
 

Leaving for Naples Tuesday using Sorrento as our base for a three or four day visit. One day for capri, one day for Pompeii, one day for Sorrento. What do you suggest for Sorrento. After going to the Adratic Side for family wedding and visit. Thank you

Rather than spend a day in Sorrento, I would explore the Amalfi Coast. I prefer the town of Amalfi, but many choose Positano.

When you go to Pompeii are you getting a guide? We didn't and I still regret it.......

Thank you, is Postiano all hills or is it pretty flat ?? Where can we hire a guide at Pompeii we went about 10 years ago with relatives and I think we missed a lot. If I remember in a previous life Pompeii was a really HOT town.

I think you can hire a guide there, but I think you should do some online research. Pompeii was REALLY hot when we went too!
