Where to buy Rolling Venice Card and ACTV pass
Hello! Our family will arrive in Venice at Santa Lucia train station and plan to ride water bus to our hotel near Rialto Bridge. Does any one know where we can buy both the Rolling Venice card and ACTV pass at the train station? Thanks.

It looks as though you can easily purchase your passes, tickets, etc. at the station. I am going by these sources:
1) The Venice Connected website says that the purchase point for tickets and various travel cards near the train station is "at the ferry embarkation point to the left of the station Station forecourt--Opening hours:7 AM - 9 PM--Info: Tel: 0412424" 2) The Hellovenezia site says that you can purchase the Rolling VENICEcard... in every Tourist Information Office (IAT/APT) Tel.: (+39)0415298711 (+39)0415225150 Fax: (+39)0415230399 and in every ticket office Hellovenezia. Call Center: +39 041 24 24 But you are aware that the Rolling VENICEcard is designed for young tourists between 14 and 29? And you are aware that you can purchase Travelcards (passes good for buses, vaporettos, etc)at considerable savings ahead of time on the Venice Connected website? http://www.veniceconnected.com/ You still have to pick them up when you get there, but again, the station is one of the pick-up points. |
Thanks for the great information. Venice Connected does offer passes with good discounts and to take advantage of the discount I have to order on-line and several days ahead of my travel to Venice. Thanks to you, our family will save at least 20+euro. You are wonderful to share this information. Many thanks.
