Where should I fly into for san sebastion?

I will be in barcelona is it better to fly into Santander or Bilbao? Which is better to get public transportation to san sebastion what would be quicker? Should we take a train or bus?

Thanks for the help

If you fly into Bilbao there is a freqyent bus that goes from the airport directly yo the bus station in San Sebastian in one hour and fifteen minutes.

You still have to make your way from the San Sebastian airport, which is really in Hondarribia. The airport is about 21km east of San Sebastian. You can take a bus, I think E21, which runs often enough from airport to the city for about 2EU or take a taxi. It is about 35min vs. 1.25hr from the Bilbao airport. Even though Bilbao is further away, if the flight arrives much earlier in Bilbao, you can reach San Sebastian quicker in the day by not landing in San Sebastian.
