Where oh where is the Assisi Train Station?
 

I have searched the internet until I am hyperventaling and can't find the train station in Assisi. I know it is in a little adjoining town called Santa Maria degli Angeli and the only info I have found is that it is on Piazza Alighieri.

I have to find it at the crack of dawn after arriving in another town at night, so I would like an idea of where to go.

Any ideas? I can't find an on-line map that shows it.......help.......

The station is located in the plain about 5 kilometers below the town of Assisi, and at the edge of the suburb of S. Maria degli Angeli. There is half-hourly bus service every day from directly outside the station into Assisi which takes less than 15 minutes. Ticket costs 80 cents and must be purchased prior to boarding. The bus is thankfully air conditioned.

Well, thanks. I will be dropped off at the station by a car (gently I hope) so I wont need the bus, but I finally found the little train symbol on the multimap.com site.

If in doubt, just look up the Basilica Santa Maria degli Angeli, you can walk from this historical church to the station.
