Where is the car rental at CDG airport and meeting point

I am so confused! I have searched the many threads on this issue but can't find the answer that I am looking for. My son will be arriving before us at CDG via US Airways-terminal 1 and we will be arriving via Air France, terminal 2E. We need to meet up with him preferably near the car rental agency Europcar (through Auto Europe). How do we find him using the shuttles and where are the car rentals located? I have ckd the maps of the airport and they totally confuse me. I speak some French but he speaks none. We will have cell phones that we can use to contact each other but that won't help if we don't know where we are going! Any help will be sooooo appreciated. We leave in 3 weeks! Thank you.

Europcar's have rental desks at CDG1, 2D, 2F and CDG3. From 2E, you can go over to 2F relatively easily.

Or you can go over to Terminal 1 and rent from there.

A new people mover, CDGVAL, opened today. You can take it from the CDG2 RER/TGV station to go over to CDG1. No shuttle bus anymore.

Thank you so much for the information. Although I searched thoroughly on the maps of CDG I couldn't find any info. This will give me some peace of mind!

Hi rk,

Do you have a URL for the CDGVAL so we can refer people to it?

Here's the fodors.com thread from yesterday. I am not sure there is an English-language page for the train yet.

Here are a couple of links that I found on the CDGVAL. http://www.aeroportsdeparis.fr/Adp/e...theque/CDGVAL/ and http://www.aeroportsdeparis.fr/Adp/R..._cdgval_va.pdf. I can't find a map of CDG showing the location of the CDGVAL at the terminals however.

Test your command of French with this pathetic report on the CDGVAL:
http://www.tourmag.com/Le-CDGVAL-ent...ui_a19126.html

You can briefly see a very clear map of the itinerary in relation to the terminals.

And yes, the general manager of Aéroports de Paris really does speak fast.
