Where is Gustemundi, Germany?

My husband's grandfather was born June 23, 1863, in Gustemundi Germany. I know his parents' names. I've been doing some research for an upcoming trip to Germany, but I haven't been able to locate a town or village called Gustemundi. We know that he left Germany somewhere around 1890 from Bremen or Bremerhaven, but that's about all we know at this point. Does anyone know where Gustemundi is? I hope I'm spelling it right - I'm looking at an old family Bible.

Daniel! I think you are right. In looking back at the Bible, I thought the "ee" was a "u" and we have been misspelling it all along! Thank you so much - This will help me on my way to find my husband's lost German family. I need to learn some German and am on the way to the bookstore for a German-English translation. Thanks, again.
