where is guaranteed sunshine in Feb?
A friend and I both newly single are looking for a 2 week holiday with GUARANTEED SUNSHINE!
Somewhere where we can enjoy the nightlife not the 18-30's scene but somewhere that still knows how to party without the sleezy side!
Any suggestions
Thank you

There is nowhere in Europe where you have guaranteed sunshine in February; not beach weather anyway.
Go to Curacao, Dutch Antilles. Certain warm weather, and if you go the week of Feb 18 it will be carnival, so good for partying too.

The Canaries are likely to be sunny and warm - mid 20s C - but it's not 100% guaranteed. There are resorts that would probably fit the bill on these islands e.g. try Caleta de Fuste on Fuerteventura or Playa Blanca on Lanzarote.

How about Jamaica -- we went in March and the direct sun was so strong in mid-afernoon we thought it might kill us. February should be a little less intense.
Jamaica is also relatively inexpensive as far as lodging and even airfare. Don't know where you are but Spirit Air was having a sale a couple days ago to Montego Bay through end of March.

If one must stay in Europe, I would have to suggest Corsica or Sicily. Either will not have 100 percent sunshine, but there'll be more there than anywhere else, with the possible exception of southern Greece. Those would be the destinations I would focus on.
Once you go outside Europe proper, there are lots of place that have already been suggested.

I Personally don't want to go to Europe, As a British gal I cannot stand to be surrounded by drunken larger louts...most of them brits! been there done that!!
We both need some rest and relaxation, however as I just left my long term relationship I need some peace with the option of interacting with others if I so choose.
I like a damn good knees up, just with those closer to my age! so to sit on the beach relaxing by day and out partying at night with no younsters in sight is my idea of some fun!
Thanks for your help...I was thinking Mexico myself.

Charlene, go to Curacao then; I didn't see one single Brit over Christmas. You can sometimes get quite cheap charter packages, flying out of Amsterdam. And February is definitely party season there.
