I'm in my house in Belgium, looking at the X-mas tree. Last night the temperature has gone below 0°C for the first time this winter. And maybe we'll have a white Christmas this year ... if the weather forecast is correct.
Merry Christmas & Happy New Year to all of you.
I'm in my home office, listening to holiday music and debating whether to bathe the dogs before company comes tomorrow. We've gotten over 20" of snow over the last ten days and its -10 degrees F right now. But, its winter and we love it (from inside a warm home).

Snow????? What's that????? Dear Lonesome: I'm in my office in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia - I guess I'm about the only person on this floor as anyone with any sense (yeah - I know) bailed out for Christmas or the Eid. Right now its 88 degrees in here (the AC has packed in) and can I find an AC technician????!!!! Obviously they had the sense to bail out too.

However, my house has so many lights on it you can probably see it from Mars. The tree is up and already listing to the right a bit (!)) the cat has attacked the red robin (as usual) and, thank goodness, I was only trusted with cooking the carrots at the pot luck christmas dinner all we singlies are having. Oman beckons in 2 days - isn't life grand?????

We are waiting for the grandchildren (ages 8, 5 and 3) to arrive ! THus, the tree is up, packages mostly wrapped and about 50 feet of twinkle lights for the children to string (can't wait to see the two year old at work !).

We live south of Atlanta and had a SNOW fall the other day !
That's a delightful rarity for us.
IT was 26 degrees this morning while making a run to the grocer and we are promised a warmer Christmas day.

Happy Holidays from eastern North Carolina where it is currently cold (40F)and breezy. We are preparing for the traditional Christmas Eve dinner and dreaming of our first trip to Paris in March. It's wonderful to hear from so many locations. I wish you peace, health, and happiness in the New Year.

Where is everyone AT now? As my mother used to say, "between the A and the T." (It's where is everyone now? Forget the "AT.")

Merry Christmas to everyone from Australia. Enjoyed Christmas Day yesterday: our family enjoyed barbecued turkey, some ham and vegies and then Christms pudding; and the bottle of bubbly! It was scrumptious. We are busy packing now as we are shortly to leave for Italy where we will be spending our holidays. Also a few days on the way back in Singapore. Best wishes to everyone, wherever you are!!
