I think I'm in worse shape than before. The more I look at these apartments the more I find and the more I add to the list. Yikes.

Any thoughts on these, particularly the street/area/location? The price range is wide. We're flexible. We want to find something moderately priced but but we're okay with spending a bit more if it looks really nice and we know it's a great location.

Uh, there's a typo in the url for that second place on rue de Rosiers that leads to an um, uh, unexpected site, lol!
The last one in the bunch would be my favorite, but they are all more expensive than the original property. Not to add to your overwhelm, but have you had a look at http://tinyurl.com/5e3jbk? We were quite pleased with the place we found on that site and they seemed to have a good assortment at decent prices.

at least you have the "problem" of too many... :)

just by location, i say nearest to the place des vosges or the st. paul area. not sure where the hotel is located.

after perusing the actual apts., i really like the first one. rue st. gilles is a lovely little street convenient to both the rue de turenne and blvd. beaumarchais from which you can get anywhere. the flat itself looks lovely. quiet, but close to lots of action. it's also closer to the 3rd arr. where i find it costs a bit less to buy fruit, flowers, etc.

remember that a french "floor" is often one floor higher than in america. "2nd floor" usually means 3rd to us as they start with the ground floor and go up.

be aware that the rue des rosiers and rue franc bourgeois (which i think the last apt. is on) are both small streets that get a LOT of pedestrian traffic, especially on the weekends.

We have been dealing with the owner of the second apartment you have listed in relation to another one of the apartments she has to rent and have found her very helpful and efficient.
