One more group for the weekend. Photo #20 was sent to me from quokka. I still can't figure out where it is. Can you guess where these pictures were taken in Germany?

I can't identify any of these, but I have emailed you a couple of pictures for the next time you decide to run a quiz! This really is a fun set of threads for a winter weekend.

#18 - Klingentor - Rothenburg o.d. Tauber?

Withdrawing my guess - I checked my own photos - it aint the Klingentor.

As I have discovered today - they are only tough if you've never been there and never seen a photo of the place before - which is the case for the photo #20 (from quokka) and the two I received from noe847 this evening (which I will include at a later time). I don't remember ever seeing any of these three locations before and not much to go on to give a good guess. I thought I could figure out #20 because two of the cars parked in front have a UL prefix which indicates Alb-Donau-Kreis und Ulm and one has an LB which indicates Ludwigsburg. I searched for possible places to match the photo in both those areas of Germany but came up blank. Maybe those clues will help someone else. Ich bin verloren... BTW - no correct answers yet for this batch...

How about #17 Burg Ehrenfels?

#18 was taken in one of my favorite places -- Bad Wimpfen. It is the Blue Tower or Blauer Turm. My husband has a few photos in his webshots album taken in 2005.

# 19: Weikersheim palace - thoroughly recommended, by the way, to all those who travel the Romantic Road.
# 20: I won't tell yet! One of the two license plates Ben identified is helpful, though.

Kloster Wiblingen is correct, it's not in Memmingen but on the outskirts of Ulm, though.
