Where in Europe has nice Weather in late March?
My husband and I were originally going to go for 2 weeks the end of May, but my sister just foud out she is pregnant (maybe with twins) and is now due around the middle of June, so I want to go earlier than planned. Don't want it to be too cold (Ideas?)

My pick would be Sicily. I have done Andalusia and Amalfi coast in late March and it still is a bit chilly. But, it will be iffy anywhere in Europe.

Rome isn't too bad. In '03 I was there the last week in March and it was really pleasant. I hear tell my a pal who enjoys Greece that they have some pleasant temps in March also.

Spain. I was there in late march 2 years ago and it was lovely weather and not hot just perfect!

We had very nice weather in the Alsace in mid-March last year, but I am not sure if we were just lucky or if that area is usually mild at that time of year.

We just returned from Andalucia last week. In discussions with people in the places we stayed in Seville and Gaucin (one of the white villages), they indicated that the weather is cool and rainy in Dec, Jan., and Feb. but usually nice from March - May and from late September - early November. It was 96 degrees one day while we were in Seville so it can be very hot even at the end of Sept. You could probably increase your chances of better weather if you waited until the beginning of April.
