Inky Jun 7th, 2002 03:39 AM

Job in London not looking so promising then, beth???

xxx Jun 7th, 2002 03:48 AM

Inky, how do you know she's not already there?? No need to post nasty comments anyway.

Hope Jun 7th, 2002 03:48 AM

Africa: Zimbabwe, Tanzania, South Africa
Europe: England, Wales, France, Belgium, Holland, Germany, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Austria, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Sweden and Russia (the European part of it)
Middle East: Lebanon
Caribbean: Grand Cayman, Bahamas, St. Thomas, St. Martin, Jamaica
South America: Mexico
North America: Puerto Rico (or that is U.S. territory, perhaps not N. America??), Hawaii, New York, North Carolina, Florida, Vermont, New Jersey (States) as well as Alberta, Ontario and Quebec (provinces).

I am in my mid-20s, I think I've done well! :-)
Inky Jun 7th, 2002 03:54 AM

Simply because 90% of the postings from ms anderson are fabrications. She'd have you believe there are MAJOR PUBLISHERS after her 'unique' story, that she's sonme sort of 21 st century georgie girl in London, a legal eagle, a gastronaut and numerous other things she thinks will impress people on this board.

She'd not there because a) she would have posted here to say so and b) because she isn't the sort of person english law firms would give a job to.

Hope Jun 7th, 2002 03:58 AM

to Paige: I live in Germany too ...

anon Jun 7th, 2002 04:14 AM

beth has never said she's a 'gastronaut' - as a matter of fact is you read her postings, you'll see she is more of a food=fuel person.

and re: her publications - she's told me the name of the editor/publisher - yep, it's for real. she's working it right now.

and how do you know she hasn't found a job in Europe?

hmmm, Lauren Kahn? or do you go by hiho these days.

Inky Jun 7th, 2002 04:25 AM

Beth has shown you, anon, this article. How reassuring, I believe her completely now.

Randy Malpaso Jun 7th, 2002 04:34 AM

beth really does enjoy her 'fuel'. So someone is writing a book about a plump, middle-aged woman trying to get a job in London. Will it be turned into a movie and we can watch it at Cannes? The plot structure sounds riveting.

What's the underlying theme?

Paige Jun 7th, 2002 04:53 AM

Hey Hope! I'm in Munich, where are you?

anon2 Jun 7th, 2002 04:57 AM

wow, Lauren goes by Randy Malpaso too. this is good to know! how many other pseudonyms does she use?

my two cents:

it obviously stands to reason that Beth is NOT in Europe, because as we all know the places she mentions as vacation destinations are impossible to reach from there.

btw Randy/Lauren, I've seen pictures of our Miss Beth - she is VERY pretty, and not at all plump - I'd put her at about a size 5. don't you know it's impolite to project your own flaws on to other people?

Inky's conscience Jun 7th, 2002 05:39 AM

Inky: Aren't you at least twice her age? Aren't you embarrassed to be so worked up about what a young woman is or isn't doing? Can't you fall back on memories of your own youth and leave hers alone?

PLEASE Jun 7th, 2002 05:46 AM

Suggestion: Don't speculate about people's pseudonyms. This can backfire.

Tammy Jun 7th, 2002 05:56 AM
South America: Brazil, Argentina, Paraguay

North America: Mexico and the US

Caribbean: Puerto Rico, Bahamas, St. Thomas

Europe: UK, France, Switzerland, Italy, Austria, Germany, Holland

Hope Jun 7th, 2002 06:11 AM

I'm not far from Ulm, though I think Munich would be much nicer. I love Munich - it is really a great city, one of Germany's nicest I think. Where are you from?

Inky Jun 7th, 2002 06:28 AM

Don't try to mess with me, now. Sure I'm older and I've fought for my country in a War. In those days, the beth andersons of this world would not be tolerated.

Art Jun 7th, 2002 06:30 AM

Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Netherlands, England, Germany, France, Switzerland, Austria, Italy, Liechtenstein, Belgium, Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Romania, Yugoslavia, Canada, Mexico and all US States except N. Dakota, Kentucky and Alaska. The 4 major Hawaiian islands.

I see inky is out of school and off her meds again.

Diane Jun 7th, 2002 06:32 AM

Like Sally, I'll send you to my virtual tourist page (with pics):
http://www.virtualtourist.com/radiomom
Inky Jun 7th, 2002 06:37 AM

Hey Art, aren't you glad to see me back?

KatieS Jun 7th, 2002 06:38 AM

WEll,Inky (when I was a child, there was a poem, that ended with the lines, Inka dink and You Stink!-How appropriate.

I saw Beth this weekend. She was looking quite well, young and pretty, getting ready for a new adventure.
Thankfully, things like this do not bother her, as much as it bothers people who know her to be so nice and nothing like the Beth that small minded, bitter little people try to describe and make her out to be.
I guess the best way of dealing with the Stinkies of the world, is what we were told as kids,
Ignore them, they are just jealous.Or in this case, maybe sort of Sick.
