I've lived in Australia all my life - born in Adelaide, then Sydney for primary school year, Brisbane for high school and uni, then Darwin first ten years and then back to Brisbane for fiften years. Been to Asia several times, and USA once (for 1999 NYE) - now planning first trip to Europe (I'm excited!).

I live in Adelaide - and am going to Europe in July with my husband for 4 weeks.
I went as a 21 year old many years ago after I finished my first year teaching, but my husband has only ever been on business so like you, we are very, very excited!

Hi Sissy, like you I am finding the advice given so willingly on this site really helpful too. Know what you mean about the 'feeling silly' to start with but the more specific the queries, then the better the answers it seems. My first Europe trip is from mid-June to mid-July this year too - in the planning phase now (hence my regular visits to this forum) - taking in London, touring England, Paris, and Venice/Rome. My husband doesn't want to come so I'd decided to go on my own, but a friend of mine asked if she could come too (her hubby travels to Europe regularly for work).

What parts of Europe are you including in your trip? Hope its a great trip too, wherever you go!
