Where do you go in prague if there are no beaches?

Will be there in july so I assume its hot. I assume there's no inland sea and i assume that people in prague still like to swim but I don't like pools and am used to beaches where not everyone wears the full suit.

So, any suggestions on places to swim in prague. I hear there are spas but I also assume these are heated.

I assume lots but know nothing... as you've probably realised. Nonetheless thanks for your help anyway.

So you want to see tits. Check out the Charles Bridge.

One option that might suit you is to buy a dirty magazine and look at the "clothing optional" pictures as you soak in the bath tub! Stay at a cheap enough place and you will not have to worry about the water being heated.

Wemr - you are really wierd. If you want to see tits, you would obviously hang out in Wenceslas Square.

Anyway, to answer the poster's question, there are lakes around the outskirts of Prague, where people go to skinny dip. Any local will know where to find these places. A friend of mine drove me to one, but it was dark out, and I don't remember the exact location. It was off a highway that leads north-east out of the city. There are also municipal pools, and some hotels do have pools.

Happy swimming..

There are many public swimming places in Prague, but they are usually ponds/lakes rather than pools. And it is very common for people to go nude--however these are usually of the elderly variety, so if seeing 't**s' is your objective, suggest follow Degas' advice.

If you don't like pools, I think there are better ways to handle the heat. Just find a nice bar in a place with air conditioning. There are some top-end hotels with pools, of course, the expensive ones.

One of the best pool/spas is the Podoli going south, not too far in the Vysehrad area. It's on the river near the castle and I've read there is a quasi "beach" and some swimming in the river. I don't know. They do have large regular indoor/outdoor pools and an area where toplessness or more is tolerated (at least for women).

Here's some brief info on it with a link.
