Where can we go from Glascow Scotland in 6 days?

My husband and I can fly to Glascow in June with an upgrade to business class. We trying to decide where we should go in this area and if the weather in June will be favorable? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The weather will be as fine as it ever is in Scotland. Can you give us an idea what you like and how you would travel?

My husband and I like walking an area, dining outdoors if the weather permits, viewing art and just in general absorbing a new place.

We were there last June and it was colder than we expected and rainy (typical for Scotland). Be sure to bring something warm, my fiance didn't and ended up wearing my coat and had to buy wool scarf. I've written about this on other people's threads lately, but I wouldn't miss the Isle of Skye it was fantastic.

I thought you were flying into Manchester?? Anyway - all the places recommended on your other thread about where you could go would also apply to Glasgow (note the spelling).

Flying into/out of Glasgow would let you see anywhere in Scotland, the Lake District, Northumberland, etc. etc.

Your two threads really don't give us anything to work with - are you just getting a free flight and don't care where you go nor know anything about the UK, or are you planning a trip to northern England/Scotland and want suggestions of what to see?????

What sorts of things do you like . . . . . .

I agree with Janis. You really must tell us more about what you expect to accomplish with this trip. Do you know anything about Scotland? If not, I suggest you read a little and then come back with more specific questions.

I don't think you really want a "one size fits all" vacation now do you.
