If you want to send more than just biscuits try:
http://www.scottishgourmetfood.co.uk I sent a selection of smoked products to my sister last Christmas, that was well appreciated. They do made up hampers or you can choose your own selection od foods. |
Cigale, I would like to have the contact info for the place that makes charming chocolate mice. I need a gift for a person who loves practical jokes and mice have sometimes figured in these jokes so... Thanks.

Under the heading ".. or like food gift item"- not biscuits/cookies, I would recommend the website www.salmonlady.com.
Etta MacKay is a friend, so this may be a bit of advertising, but I do use her services, too, to order salmon here in the US, pay in US dollars and have it delivered to friends and relatives in the UK and Continental Europe. She sells Scottisch smoked salmon which she imports from her hometown of Tobermory, Isle of Mull. She has her European and UK orders shipped directly from Scotland, rather than re-shipping from the US. So you get a three-for-one stop shopping...UK food product, payment in dollars and shipping within Europe....and the smoked salmon is EXCELLENT, so say my recpients and me. She also ships within the US, she and the Scottish Smoked Salmon Company are located in Maryland. She is taking orders for Christmas and New Years now for shipment within europe. Judy |
Another recommendation for Sainsburys. Our friend in London does work for them and gave me that tip, it worked for us a couple of times!
