Hello. Does anyone know if there is a site like vindigo.com where I can download information on Italy to put onto my handheld device? Thank you!

I have loaded an application called "Avantgo" on my palm which has multiple channels that you can download onto your handheld. The information can be set to update at various intervals or each time you hotsync. There is even a Fodors channel through which you can download hotel and restaurant info. There are other travel related channels as well. Go to www.avantgo.com to download the application. It may not be exactly what you are looking for, but I have found it to be a cool application for a variety of reasons.

I found a limited number of city guides for the Palm on the Lonely Planet web site. You can download a 24 evaluation copy. I have not looked at the application yet, but it is supposed to include restaurants, places of interest, etc listed and shown on a "scrolling" city map.
