For a November fare, my best guess would be that really good fares probably won't begin appear on most carriers until around mid-July. I picked up a November fare to Europe last June that ended up being very close to the lowest fare for the dates involved, however. (See Rule #1).

It seems so, as if you are to late for August bookings. The major airlines have announced an increase of fuel charge during the last weeks and this resulted in an increase of the airfare end-price.
