What's the word or term for that 'I've got a trip' feeling?

I lied a little to my friends and boyfriend and said a trip to France for a week next year (spring break) would cost little more than the 4 night trip to Montreal we had planned. As soon as they agreed to it I was awash in endorphins and have been placidly serene ever since. I've got the 'all is right with my world' feeling, I'm willing to sacrifice earthly pleasures in order to save money for this trip, and I feel like I got away with something I shouldn't have. What is this condition called?

Happy perhaps?

The more important question is

"What's the name of that feeling you get when your friends found out you lied to them and they end up having to spend more money than they bargained for?"

LOL....I think it's known as "being Kath-like." There is nothing I enjoy more than having something to look forward to, unless it is perhaps getting my way.

Some people call the trip feeling "foreplay," and if you plan way ahead, you practice "tantra." That feeling you get when you tell everyone it will be way cheaper than it really is is called "guilt" and when they can't pay to go, well, you get "blue balled."

Really! I didn't lie that much! We'll stay in a gite which will be less than two days hotel in Old Montreal (2 rooms at 4 nights) which will average out the extra airfare. We'll be eating out only once a day compared to all meals. So, no big deal. We'll have to rent a car but it will be shared between the two couples. And we'll have the joy of being in Europe.
Kath - my girlfriend has a term similar to kathlike, I think, she calls it 'perma-grin'.
And very good, laclaire. Tantra. Ohmmmm.
