What's the Website?
Is there a website for all the details of the
U-bahn,S-bahn,tram,bus routes/fares in Vienna?
www.wiennet.at only shows German language but
l can't find the english version.
Please help me!
|
Zita: try
www.info.wien.at/index_e.html

I don't know whether there are detailled maps for public transport, but at least it is a site in English!
BTW: A lot of websites in Europe are only in the local language.

Bit like in the US then Ursula..?!
|
Kate: I suppose, yes. Or do you know of any German, French or Italian sites in the US net?? ;-)

Zita,
I'd strongly suggest you use the Austrian language information on the wiennet website. That's what you're going to see when you get to Vienna so take the opportunity to familiarize yourself with both the routes and the language as well beforehand.

Hi, Zita,
I could scan in a map of the tram and metro system of Vienna and send it to you via email. We recently returned from Vienna and the info is current.
Send me an email and I will try to catch up on these this weekend.
Have wonderful trip!
Gloria
PS. Take a look at my pictures of Vienna and Prague at: http://albums.photopoint.com/j/AlbumList?u=1459728
It is a gorgeous city!
