what's the difference between tenuata and borgo

I have noticed both types of lodgings offering rooms/apts. Is there a difference in the experience one might have ?

As far as I know, those words really are just the name of the lodgings, they're not two different types of place. "Borgo" means small town or village and "tenuta" means estate or farm. But there are agristurismo places on farms called "borgo" and places near villages called "tenuta." It's an image thing.

Somewhat similarly, "osteria" "trattoria" and "ristorante," which actually did mean three different types of eating laces, are now often used interchangeably, so that an expensive restaurant that wants to sound earthy and authentic may use osteria in its name.

"Eating laces"? Yum, yum. Of course I meant "places."
