What's the best souvenir you've purchased (or received as a gift)?

I started a collection of rock/pop/jazz music by bands from the countries I visit, sung in their language. Doing some research beforehand on youtube helps to find out which singers and bands I like, and put together a list of names to take to the CD shop.

Eight water tumblers made on Murano, all different colours with mille fiori decorations. It took two trips to carry them back in carry on luggage.
I instantly know I will like a restaurant in Venice when the glassware is interesting, for instance Antiche Carampane and Algiobagiu.

I also buy art that I get framed at home. I like unique jewelry pieces that are representative of where I've been. I have a gorgeous green amber pendant I bought in Russia that I love. I used to buy shoes and suits in Florence, but now that I work in a business casual environment, not so much. And let's not even talk about the pottery from the Amalfi Coast...

You'll all probably laugh, but one of my favourite "use every day" souvenirs is a set of drinking glasses from Williams-Sonoma that I bought on my USA trip.
Following my "buy it when you see it" travel philosophy, I bought them in San Francisco the day I arrived and carried them with me for four weeks. They have French-style fruit designs on them. You could probably have bought them in every Williams- Sonoma store at the time but the ones they have online at the moment are similar but different. I checked, because I broke one of the set

We were recently in London and visited the London Silver Vaults. Splurged on a sugar shaker-a lead crystal sort of jar with a sterling domed lid that is pierced so sugar can be sprinkled. It is unusual and beautiful and I love it!

One of my favorite souvenirs that I bought: a simple sterling silver and blue topaz ring bought in Bremen; wear it every day; reminds me of that trip.
A souvenir that I still WISH I had bought: a CD from the Mongolian throat singers who were performing on the square in Haarlem in 2004.

I also bought a couple of Monet posters from the Orsay in Paris a 3-4 years ago, and finally had them matted and framed. They are in the den so I can look at them every day. I also love using some wine stoppers I bought in a grocery store in Salzburg, and enjoy looking at the ceramic tile house numbers I bought in the basement of BHV in Paris about 4 years ago. The simple everyday things make me smile and remember the trips better than photos.
