What's A Good Site To Use For Posting Photos?
 

I just got back my film from my recent trip to the Dordogne, Provence, and Paris, and spent an hour or so making a nice album of the Dordogne photos on the AOL Pictures software, only to find out I can't post it on a website, only share it with other people by e-mail.

Where can I create such an album so that I can post the URL here? I'm not exactly a photographer, but some of the pictures are pretty nice, and I'd like to use them to complement my trip reports (and I've got to write up the rest of those trip reports, too, but am far too jet-lagged at the moment).

try Yahoo photos, Club Photo, Ophoto. these all offer free uploads of photos which you can share with your friends. They charge a small annual premium if you want to upload large images or include big files. I've been happy with the free services they offer. Other photo sites are available if you look in Google.

Mellen, most I know use ophoto and once you sign in even if only to view a friends photos , all your friends in future posted trips will be there for you to view.

We use webshots.com. It is easy to upload photos, any you can create multiple albums on your "page."
