I'm going to toss some little heals in my suitcase, just for fun! I don't get enough opportunity to wear them in rural Arizona.

Greens and pinks are so in this year in fashion ... i can't imagine it would be different in Paris. I think the only hard part about wearing colors is that there are less things to match them with so you have to bring more clothes! However, I would say go for color. Unless the trend of color is already passe in Europe. haha

I would take nytraveler's advice and wear colors in jewelry and such. For example, wear a green necklace and purse to bring some color into your outfit.

I wear earth tones, not just black, when I travel to Europe. I wear silk/linen or matte jersey. I admit my pants are usually black or tan because of the dirt factor (especially when it rains)but it also allows me to pair it with whatever color shirts/sweaters I want to wear. I have worn anything from pale pink to reds. I have found colorful to be fine but bahama loud is not. Avoid screaming patterns unless you are one of those people who can do it with style.
