What will we see or pass through on our train rides?

In July, we will be traveling through Europe by train mostly. I wondered what places of note or sites we would pass by on our trains. Natural beauty and places of historical importantance are especially interesting to our group. Thank you for your help.
1. Paris to Cologne
2. Cologne to Amsterdam
3. Prague to Budapest
4. Budapest to Munich

To get a list of most of the towns you will be passing through on each of your itineraries, go to www.bahn.de.

Go to, the English language version (Union Jack or Stars & Stripes) and enter each itinerary. Choose "Local transport", although you obviously don't want to use that for these long trips. Once you get one of these local train connections, pick one and click "show intermediate stops". Now you know which towns you trains may go through.

If you choose to do your actual travel on one of the high speed trains (ICE, Thalys, etc.) you should be aware that these often ride on their own dedicated right of way, so they(a) may by-pass some of the listed places and (2)for noise abatement purposes, they travel long distances in tunnels and ditches. No views there.
