What website do you use to post your photos to share with friends and family ?

Besides Webshots or Flickr, what are other websites to use that are user friendly and you can easily upload your photos to for sharing?

I use ofoto.com and find it hassle free and easy.

I use the Kodak Gallery website (formerly Ofoto). It has worked well for me in the past. And my friends I share the photos with can order prints directly from the site themselves.

I have friends who use the sony website for sharing their photos and I have ordered from that site directly as well.

I have not had trouble with either one of these sites, but that's just my experience.

Thanks, I am having a hard time with the Kodak gallery. It only lets me upload one picture at a time. This is way too time consuming. What am I doing wrong.

What internet browser are you using ? The bulk upload seems to only work with IE and not firefox.

VL,

I have been using the single photo upload option but I believe that when you go to the "create album" link you are prompted to download Kodak's easy upload option. Not sure how quickly that option works but I seem to recall there is a drag and drop format with easy upload. Since I got my new computer I have not downloaded easy upload program, sorry I couldn't be more helpful.

I use the free software JALbum to create thumbnail galleries and then upload everything to the webspace that came free from my ISP.

If you don't mind paying a small yearly fee (I think $30/year for the lowest plan,) smugmug.com is pretty good. I use it for my gallery.

I use pbase also. Before you go to load your pictures, make a zip file of all the pictures you want to upload in the order you want them to appear, then one click and they all load at once.

fotopic.net

Free 250MB, pretty cheap from there on out, no annoying spam or anything, no software to download, good all around.

Thank You all for the wonderful response. I am trying out a few to see the ease of use and how quickly they upload.

Thanks a bunch.

Wondering if anyone has had a very, very long download from IPhoto album to KodakGallery (Ofoto)? Really, it has taken hours to transfer to their site. I have DSL and it shouldn't take so long.

Geat topic! I just got a new Dell and it came with Corel for 6 months. It's fine for editing but when we tried to email a slide show, we can't get it to work. Not sure why. Then I started using Walgreens because I can order prints there. After I sent out a slide show from Walgreens.com, my friend told me she had to register on Walgreen's site to see it so that is not good.

I am glad I got some more ideas from this thread. I will give some of them a try.

I used photos.yahoo for the first time this weekend to send photos to my friends and thought it was very easy. I used snapfish to order prints but I have not received them yet. approx. 53 4x6 prints for less than $6.00 delivered in 3 days seems like a great deal.

I'm not sure how I did it exactly, but I downloaded over 300 photos to ofoto pretty quickly. Didn't have to do them one at a time.
