So now I finally figure out my life, who needs Dr. Phil? I am a rowan tree from Australia, enuf said.

cigalechanta Aug 19th, 2003 02:06 PM

I'm a Rowan and I must admit, it fits me to a tee except for the charm. The other test I took on the Francophile and I was from Spain, I think.

pollyesther Aug 19th, 2003 02:14 PM

Awww, you're charming, cigalechanta, at least to us you are.

Scarlett Aug 19th, 2003 03:45 PM

I hadn't thought of seeing what the rest of the family was so dln made me think of it :)
My husband is a Fig/sensibility
my son is an Elm/nobleminded
my daughter is a Poplar/decorative :)
and PUP is a Fig also !!
Should I tell my husband about he and the Pup ?? ((&))

Gardyloo Aug 19th, 2003 03:51 PM

I am Elm. That must explain why I like Holland so much.

dln Aug 19th, 2003 03:55 PM

Scarlett, of course you must tell them both. They will see the humor in it!

OReilly Aug 19th, 2003 04:01 PM

I am a FIR tree and willing to accept any personality profiling that declares me Mysterious!

Scarlett Aug 19th, 2003 04:06 PM

Well, I just told Pup and he wants me to do the test again ((&))

Scarlett Aug 19th, 2003 04:08 PM

Ger,
Fir is perfect for you! Mysterious modest, ambitious and talented!! That's you!

auntgrapes Aug 19th, 2003 04:09 PM

Apple tree and most of is fits....

OReilly Aug 19th, 2003 04:12 PM

Oh Scarlett, you are such a HAZELNUT TREE - so CHARMING.

Unfortunately the FIR's "moody, stubborn, tends to egoism" hits a bit close to home for me :)

Degas Aug 19th, 2003 04:18 PM

This test is rigged!

HORNBEAM TREE (Good Taste) - of cool beauty, cares for its looks and
condition, good taste, is not egoistic, makes life as comfortable as
possible, leads a reasonable and disciplined life, looks for kindness
and acknowledgment in an emotional partner, dreams of unusual lovers.

Scarlett Aug 19th, 2003 04:20 PM

What is an "unusual lover" for a tree??
Like a Fig messing about with an Apple tree?

artisland Aug 19th, 2003 04:31 PM

im a sudanese fir tree
no doubt, striped bare for firewood.

Digital_Traveler Aug 19th, 2003 06:21 PM

A WALNUT TREE!!!
What the @#%&!

Betsy Aug 19th, 2003 06:48 PM

A fir and the description is very apt, if I do say so (except for the part about moodiness and stubborness, of course. LOL!

FIR TREE (Mysterious) - extraordinary taste, dignity, sophisticated, loves anything beautiful, moody, stubborn, tends to egoism but cares for those close to them, rather modest, very ambitious, talented, industrious, uncontested lover, many friends, many foes, very reliable.

icithecat Aug 19th, 2003 08:10 PM

Well I am a Cedar. Go figure. The only bone of contension is that I hope I have found my true love...(travel)....just kidding. It has been 11 years now.................

Clifton Aug 19th, 2003 08:26 PM

Supposedly, I'm a poplar, but I'm not certain. Exceptin' of course that I didn't fall from no dad gum tree (as opposed to a sweet gum tree), I fell from a turnip truck.

RufusTFirefly Aug 20th, 2003 05:13 AM

Hmmmmm, how about "What rock did you crawl out from under?"

Or "What weed did you spread from?"

Or "Which candy bar were you wrapped up in?"

elizabeth_reed Aug 20th, 2003 05:44 AM

fig ---> strong, self-willed,practical talent, etc etc. True in this case.
