You probably don't need your winter coat. Check the Weather Channel website (http://www.weather.com) for a 10-day forecast.

Why would you wear a winter coat in spring?

It would look like you purchased it in a sale, wear this season's please.

I just returned from Paris on April 7. The weather was lovely. Mid-50's during the day with both sun and clouds and some light scattered rain. Evenings were cool, in the low 40's. I brought a long raincoat with a zip out liner, gloves, scarf and umbrella, and was just fine! Check www.weatherbase.com before you go. Have fun!

A winter coat in april is way over the top - you wouldn't wear it here would you? A raincoat or similar weight jacket is all you'll need.

Thanks for all of the good advice. And I just realized that all clothing questions go to a certain posting - will do that in the future. I just heard that Paris weather is breaking and it is absolutely gorgeous on this Easter Sunday.

Hi
do check the forecasts again, at several sources, before you go.
Paris weather is fickle, and April in Paris especially so. I've been there in late May and needed a sweater under my lined raincoat as the temps were in the 50s and it rained every day, so do check what's likely to happen. Good luck.
