Male, yes. Female, no way. Needs to be more expensive designer stuff.

Not sure what you mean by "western" clothing? Are you going dressed as a cowboy?

If you're asking about weather it depends on what parts of eastern - or central - europe you're visiting. Obviously northern parts are colder than southern.

Perhaps you should clarify your question.

Would a pair of new jeans go over well in Prague, Budapest or Zagreb?

Sensationally so. You would be the talk of the town.

Of the places you've listed, I've only been to Prague. I don't know where you are from or what you normally wear, but jeans are fine. I wore jeans, khakis or black pants and wasn't out of place.

What are you thinking people typically wear to those destinations?

People wear jeans in Eastern Europe all the time. It's not like it was during Communism, when people didn't wear them because they couldn't buy them!

The question is a joke. No need for a "serious" answer

If by western you mean chaps, then yes. They'll look great as you stroll the streets and will be really awesome to wear on the plane.
I'd definitely go for chaps over top of those new jeans.
