Why did you decide to go there? they have quite a few museums, actually, if you are interested in them. Some on city museum, or naval or oceanography. I haven't been to them, if I were going, I'd choose the latter as I find that subject interesting, as well as local history. see

YOu could visit the Palace and cathedral

Personally, I'd also go to visit the casino and opera house, both designed by Garnier, the same architect who did the Paris Garnier Opera house. I think they have tours.

Princess Grace (aka Grace Kelly) is buried in the Cathedral, next to Prince Ranier. The castle square is nice and there are some good restaurants in the streets just off the square. If you're a Formula 1 fan, it's kin of cool to drive round and recognise parts of the course of the Monaco GP.

Largely a town for the uber wealthy to play, shop and gamble - but not that time of year.
Yes, there is a Royal Palace and a couple of small museums - but unless you have a very specific reason I wouldn;t bother.
We have been twice - in late spring/early summer primarily to visit the casino and check out the James Bond wannabes. It makes sense to go whenthe yachts of the uber wealthy ar ein the harbor so you cansee them and then their owners (in full evening regalia) in the casino betting huge amounts. (And be aware the casino is nothing like LV. There are limited hours, entrance fees and dress codes - esp if you want the inner rooms with the real games versus the small area of one armed bandits for the plebes.)
