In europe you will need a washcloth b/c the rooms have none. you will need for plane - lots of reading, tissues, all your bath items - don't check them, a sleepmask and a tarvel pillow - try travelsmith.com and water and food - if it sucks on your airline. trailmix and fruit are basics, as are power bars. <BR>we always bring a cashmere wrap, wear really comfy clothes (like a Juicy sweatsuit or something) and slip on shoes and comfy socks. feet always swell and they are easy to slip on and off when using the bathroom or stretching. <BR>have fun.

For reading on the plane, I usually print out things to read. I can through each article or story away when through, and have that much less to pack on the way back.<BR><BR> Keith

I've had 2 Komfy Kollars and they have both sprung leaks - slight split at the seam - after just a few uses. A great idea but not reliable. Instead I always bring a foam cervical collar which supports in all directions - just looks rather medical but who cares. You could always cover it with a scarf. The other out of the ordinary things I bring are a small packet of jam (for morning roll - airline doesn't always supply and I like a sweet in the morning) and also an empty film cannister with vaseline (and a drop of lavendar oil) for the inside of my nose. I really think it helps me avoid the airplane cold.

keith, great idea! <BR><BR>just an add-on: local libraries regularly have book sales. They sell all sorts of books, novels, and magazines for 10cents, 25cents, 50cents, and at most a dollar for a hard-bound book!!! So, you can take some reading material with you on the plane or on the train and either give it away, leave it, or throw it away more freely...leaving a bit more room in your luggage and helping your library in some small way!
