What To Eat in the UK

Forgive my ignorance but we will be visiting
the UK in mid-May for 7 days. With the Foot and Mouth problem in full bloom what is the restaurant menu fare these days?
Thanks in advance.
John

Exactly the same as normal. As a London resident I have noticed no difference in the availability of meat - we import a reasonable amount anyway (New Zealand Lamb and Danish Bacon, for instance). I suspect the prices may rise, but that will probably be more in supermarkets than restaurants.

Food is terrible and the woman are uuuuugley, look like men with wigs! Take TV dinners and maybe a grill with your own steaks because the food is expensive and terrible to say the least.

Don't worry Dale, we have McD's and Angus steakhouses to cater for the likes of you.

Men with wigs eh? What, like Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell, Kate Winslet, Catherine Zeta Jones, Kristin Scott Thomas....
