I love Naples. It's a great city for walking and also for just sitting and watching the passing scene. Good food, good wines, interesting sites. A favorite memory is watching the sun rise behind Vesuvius from my floor-to-ceiling window in a 5th-floor pensione (truly the old sort of pensione you found all over Italy 20 years ago) overlooking the port. Magic!

True of New York, Chicago, Washington, etc, etc

Get a copy of "Yesterday, Today and Tomprrow" and then go enjoy Naples.
