What time is rush hour in Rome?

I have read many posts on avoiding public transportation in Rome during rush hour. Does anyone know approximately what time rush hour starts and ends in Rome?

There are several rush hours because many places still let their workers have a long lunch siesta. Morning rush 8-10 am. Lunch rush 12:30-1:30 and again between 3 and 4 pm. Evening rush, 6-7:30 pm.

All times are GMT -8. The time now is 09:12 PM.
